Who processes your data

The controller is Devium s.r.o., Varšavská 715/36, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, Company ID: 17931525 — the Novak Design studio. For privacy matters, reach us at hello@novakdesign.sk. We have not appointed a DPO — no such obligation applies to us.

What we collect and why

We process only what you send us yourself via the contact form or e-mail: your name, e-mail address and the content of your message. It is used to reply to your enquiry and for the follow-up business conversation. We send no newsletters or marketing e-mails.

Legal basis

Processing relies on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. If no contract follows, we continue under legitimate interest per Art. 6(1)(f): answering a business enquiry and keeping a record of it.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for 12 months from the last communication, then delete it. If a project starts, contractual and accounting records follow statutory retention periods.

Who receives the data

We never sell your data or share it for anyone else's purposes. It is technically processed for us by:

• Resend — e-mail delivery and inbound handling (EU)
• Vercel — website hosting and form processing

We do not transfer data outside the European Union.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Traffic is measured with Vercel Analytics, which runs without cookies and without identifying visitors — we only see aggregate numbers. Your light/dark theme choice stays on your device; switching languages stores a functional language-preference cookie. Neither is linked to you as a person.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, object, and request portability. Just write to hello@novakdesign.sk — handled free of charge within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or the Slovak Data Protection Office (dataprotection.gov.sk).
